Darren Cowdrey

With two decades of experience working with teens, Darren Cowdrey is a pastor who works with the California Pacific Conference, which he joined in July 2019. In the role, Darren Cowdrey holds weekly seminars while also being responsible for coordinating ministries and the organization's creative leadership.

In addition, he provides pastoral care to people of all ages and cultural backgrounds and partners with volunteers who focus on the church's finances and human resources, among other areas. Before this, he held similar roles with churches across California, including Good Shepherd in Westminster and Shepherd of the Hills in Mission Viejo, where he served as an associate pastor.

Mr. Cowdrey holds a master's in theology and divinity, which he gained from the Pacific School of Religion in 1997, and has been ordained by the United Methodist Church. He also earned a bachelor of arts in English from the University of California, Irvine, where he minored in film and Spanish.

Alongside his pastoral duties, Darren Cowdrey regularly holds summer camps for teens and children.
